Bij sommige stoomtreinen valt het geluid weg of is helemaal niet meer te horen.

Daar is een oplossing voor door middel van het een aantal andere en betere engine sound.
Daarvoor zijn van de auteur trw1089, drie engine sound te downloaden;

Zusammen mit den tags der steam-engines ein "bischen" Arbeit.
- Problem ist, die Frequenz zu erhoehen, ohne dass der Ton zu hoch und duenn wird.
-Vorteil ist, dass man einen solchen Sound fuer alle Loks einsetzen kann, weil er sich an den Radumdrehungen orientiert und nicht an der Geschwindigkeit, so dass eine 44 (1,4m Rad) mit demselben Soundmodul schneller schnauft als eine 01 (2,0m Rad)!
